The Children’s Ministry at Grace Church provides care for children from infancy through 5th grade during our Sunday morning service.
During the Worship Service:
At Grace Church, parents are given the option to have their children remain and worship with them or have them attend Sunday School.
Nursery — Room 101 (birth thru age 3) is open for attendance prior to worship.
All other children go into the sanctuary and remain with their families until dismissed (before the sermon begins) to the Fellowship Room where they will be met by their teacher and signed into their classrooms.
PreK-K — Room 104 remains in their classroom until the service is over. After services, parents can gather these children.
Grades 1-2 Room 103 & Grades 3-5 — Room 102, return for communion and sit with their family.
Curriculum:
The Sunday school curriculum is meant to point children to Christ, our Savior and Lord. The children learn of their need to trust completely in God’s grace and mercy for eternal life. Systematic lessons are introduced in the classroom to teach the children the wonderful truths
of the Bible. The children are able to learn through a “questions and answers” approach. Scripture proof texts are learned and memorized so children can “be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks them to give the reason for the hope they have in Christ…with
gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15).
In addition, the First Catechism (Grades PreK – Grade 2) and The Westminster Standards, Shorter Version (Grades 3-5) are reviewed each
Sunday.

Children’s Ministry pamphlets are kept in the church foyer for your convenience.
*Vacation Bible School (ages 4 thru Grade 5) is offered each summer. Dates vary.
