Norm Mathison

Norm and Teri were married in 1969, and have 4 adult children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and 7 grandchildren. By the Grace of God, Norm was brought to salvation by faith in Jesus Christ in 1979. While practicing Architecture, he continued to grow in his faith over the next 20 years. While attending Pacific Hills church (1989 – 1998), Norm became involved in ministry, among other duties, he oversaw the Marriage Fellowship, and pre-marriage counselling, assisted by his wife. In 1998 he answered the call to help plant and pastor a Calvary Chapel affiliate church in North Carolina where he remained for the next 13 years. During this time Norm served as a Chaplin with the local Sheriffs Dept. and was involved in various short term mission trips, both national and international, including multi-church trips to Israel. It was also during this time, by God’s grace, Norm continued to grow in his theology in a decidedly reformed direction, attending seminars and conferences, such as R. C. Sproul (Ligonier Ministries) and Shephard Conferences held by John MacArthur. Norm and his wife joined and settled into Grace Church in 2018 and served as a Deacon before being called to Eldership, where he considers it a privilege to serve this local body of Christ.
